Refuse Collection Vehicle CabThe Waste and Recycling department is responsible for the provision of refuse and recycling collection services across the New Forest.

New Forest District Council is a member of Project Integra, a partnership between local authorities in Hampshire, a private waste contractor and Hampshire County Council. The purpose of Project Integra is to provide an integrated solution to Hampshire's waste.

Using the links below, you can find out what you can recycle in the New Forest, what to do if your refuse hasn't been collected and how to join schemes such as the Garden Waste Collection Service.

Some household recycling and rubbish collection days will be changing in October. Find out more.
