How to report anti-social behaviour, a crime or a problem
The Partnership does not operate a separate reporting system to that run by the police. Please do report the problems that you are witnessing or experiencing; without that information the Partnership will not know where it needs to concentrate it's work. If you experience or witness anti-social behaviour or a crime you can report this in a number of different ways. In an emergency always dial 999 For non-emergency anti-social behaviour, community safety advice, information and action please ring 101 (calls cost a flat rate of ten pence) or you can ring 0845 045 45 45 for general enquiries or if you wish to report a crime (calls are charged at the local rate). No text messages are guaranteed to arrive quickly. You will know your message has been received only when you get a reply. Until you get a reply, try other ways to contact the Emergency Services. Community DiaryIf the issue is not a 'one off' we may ask you to complete a community diary that sets out how the 'anti-social behaviour' is affecting you. Social housing landlords may ask their tenants for a diary or log sheets to be completed for them. We do not expect you to complete multiple diaries and log sheets; just one is OK so long as it has all the information about the problems you are experiencing written on it. Within the Partnership we will share the information that you provide. Some people prefer to keep their diary or log sheets electronically and then e mail the information to us; that is fine but you just need to make sure that all the information we need is being recorded. A pdf of a community diary can be viewed on this page. Community diaries with prepaid envelopes for their return are available from the Community Safety Co-ordinator at New Forest District Council. Please call or e mail stephanie.bennett@nfdc.gov.uk or call 02380 285588. If you wish to download a diary to write in please click on the pdf of the community diary on the right.
