New Forest Spring Clean 2010

New Forest Spring Clean is now in its 37th year and we're looking for volunteers to help us with the annual litter pick.

Forest Force Logo

This is a great opportunity for local people to get out and tidy up the New Forest.

Perhaps your group is one of the dedicated teams of volunteers who help out every year or perhaps you have not been involved before.  Either way, we need your support.

New Forest Spring Clean 2010 is an open event.  This means that voluntary groups can organise their litter pick events at any time during the Spring.

The Forestry Commission have organised a series of public events from 6th to 14th March 2010, but if you are a voluntary group, you can arrange your litter pick for any time or day that suits you.

These are the details of the public litter picks:

  • All litter picks start at 10am and will finish by 12.30pm.
  • Please wear strong footwear, warm clothing and trousers.
  • Please book with Alexis Reeve at the Forestry Commission on 023 8028 3141 or email her on alexis.reeve@forestry.gsi.gov.uk
  • Minimum age 16 years.
