Being a contact

Being a contact

Being a contact for an Appletree Careline customer is an important role as it is fundamental to the effective operation of the service. You may be thinking of becoming a keyholder or an emergency contact for someone who has an Appletree Careline community alarm or you may already have agreed to perform this important role.

WHAT DOES A CONTACT DO?
Following an alarm activation a contact may be called by Appletree Careline to visit the property to provide additional information about the nature of the call, reassurance or access to the property for the emergency services. You will need to be able to gain access to the property by using a key given to you by the resident or by using the code to access the keysafe, if one is fitted at the property.

WHEN MIGHT I BE CONTACTED?
We could contact you at any time of the day and night but we would only contact you in an emergency.

WHAT IF I AM AWAY OR CAN ONLY BE CONTACTED AT CERTAIN TIMES?
Please let us know if you are away or if you are only available to be contacted at certain times e.g. during the day.

WHAT INFORMATION DO YOU NEED TO ME?
Appletree Careline will need your telephone numbers and address details. You will be asked to give your consent for this information to be held securely on our system. Once recorded, it can only be accessed by our fully trained and highly skilled operators.

Appletree Careline is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy in compliance with the General Date Protection Regulation 2018.  Appletree Careline Privacy Notice
