IMPORTANT CHANGES TO NEW FOREST PLANNING
Since 1 April 2006 the New Forest District Council has had no responsibilities for planning matters within the New Forest National Park.

All queries relating to the park area will be passed to the national park authority at their new address in Lymington. Personal callers wanting to view files or plans will be re-directed to this address.
All files relating to current and historical planning matters have already been passed to the national park authority. Other planning data relating to the park area, such as conservation areas, historical building and tree preservation orders have also been transferred to the national park authority headquarters.
If you have any planning query about a site within the national park you should contact the national park authority direct.
